Textile Reinforcement Fleece
EKAFELT textile reinforcement fleece is a polyester-based non-woven textile product, cut to specific dimensions, suitable for use with liquid waterproofing products; thanks to chemical treatment it recovers its shape after stretching.
Applications
- For repairing cracks in wet rooms,
- On balconies and terraces,
- In roof gutters,
- At floor-to-wall connections,
- In chimney base corners,
- At foundation-to-concrete wall connections,
- At sheet metal connections,
- At the joints of reinforced concrete pipes and tunnels, together with liquid waterproofing products.

Method of Application
Preparation of the Substrate
The surfaces to be treated must be dry, clean and free of loose particles. The substrate must be primed or levelled. Do not apply on wet or damp surfaces.
Application of the EKAFELT Reinforcement Fleece
The surfaces are primed and the selected liquid waterproofing material is applied. While the material is still wet, the EKAFELT textile reinforcement fleece is laid with a brush and bonded without voids or creases. Liquid waterproofing material is then applied again over the top surface to complete the application.

Shelf Life
When stored at room temperature under dry conditions the shelf life is 36 months. Protect from moisture, water, sunlight and excessive heat.
